Toronto punks Fucked Up seem to be taking a page from Jack White with the video for the latest single from their forthcoming EP, ‘Year Of The Hare.’ Like White’s video for “Black Bat Licorice”, the band just released an interactive video for their 21-minute long epic title track. (Only interactive on desktop version)

The interactive clip is hosted at its own special website, and follows a bored-looking office worker living out his daily life and seeing rabbits as he goes. Each segment of the video plays in a continuous loop, and in order to move on, you must figure out how to navigate the video using your keyboard. The instructions on the page read only, “Use your keyboard to escape the loops.”

Can you figure it out? (Only interactive on desktop version)

‘Year of The Hare’ is out June 16th, and it’s the latest in a series of releases from Fucked Up based on the Chinese Zodiac (naturally following last year’s Year of the Dragon). The boys are going on tour with DOOMSQUAD in the U.S. for most of the summer, but they will be playing a near-hometown show at the inaugural WayHome Festival this July.
