After making their world debut at SXSW as the opener for Incubus in 2014, Tribe Society dropped their debut EP ‘Lucid Dreams’ this past June. Featuring lead vocalist Gavin McDevitt, Rory Given on bass/guitar, Bradford Alderman on synthesizer/keys, Phil Boucher on drums and Seth Hachen on synth and flute – the New York-based alt-rock band brings together various genres and influences together, from 90s hip-hop to grunge rock, to create their own unique sound. Tribe Society has created a sound that blurs the lines between alternative rock and electronic music, similar to Imagine Dragons, AWOLnation or 90s rockers Smashing Pumpkins.

Their recent success, which additionally sees them playing a slew of headline shows across the US for the remainder of the summer, even landed them a collar with pop powerhouse Kiesza, which you can listen to below.

The ‘Lucid Dreams’ EP includes Tribe Society’s hit song “Kings” along with four other tracks. With their latest video for their single “Kings,” the band recently dropped an animated video for the track. The video for “Kings” is dark, with a politically-charged undertone. You can watch it below:
