After making their stellar debut in 2013 with ‘Dark Eyes’, Half Moon Run have recently announced that they will drop their much-anticipated sophomore album this fall. The vague announcement, made on their website and Facebook page, simply advertises “New album coming this fall”. The Montreal band has not released any further details as of yet, but yesterday the quartet posted a picture to their Facebook page teasing a video for a soon-to-be-released single.
Half Moon Run recently played a free show for Toronto’s Pan Am Games and premiered new material from their fall release. The unreleased material hinted at a slight change for the indie band to include more of an upbeat funk/soul influence. For the remainder of the year, Half Moon Run will be touring across the UK and Europe. The tour begins at the end of September, so we can only assume (and hope) that their new album will be released around this time.
