Toronto’s very own, PARTYNEXTDOOR, takes you to the beach in his new video release for the song “Not Nice”. In the song, PND is conflicted over the fact that although his girl looks nice, she is indeed, actually, rude.

“Don’t, girl, you look so nice

But you’re not nice, you’re rude

Look what you’re putting me through

I’d never do this to you”

The track is just right for keeping you warm right when the weather is inevitably beginning to cool down. In the new track, “Not Nice”, PND swerves toward a dancehall rhythm more than usual – his jamaican heritage likely has something to do with that. The release comes at a time where many of PND’s fellow OVO members are beginning to experiment with music with more of a dancehall vibe. Other examples including Controlla by Drake and Gwan Big Up Urself by Roy Woods, both released during 2016. (1)

Producer Dre Skull acknowledged the track for featuring a sample from one of his and Vybz Kartel’s unreleased songs.

PARTYNEXTDOOR has officially released the schedule for his upcoming tour “Summer’s Over Tour” with Jeremih, which will begin in Miami on November 8th and will run until mid December.

PARTYNEXTDOOR, born Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, was the first artist signed to Drake’s label OVO Sound in 2013. The album, “PartyNextDoor 3”, is PND’s second studio album.
