JOHN LEGEND FT. CHANCE THE RAPPER – “PENTHOUSE FLOOR”

Soul singer John Legend released the first track from his upcoming album on November 16th. Teasing us with the groovy, funky fuelled jam “Penthouse Floor” co-written by Sia with collaborations from Beck associate Greg Kurstin, and features verses from Chance The Rapper. The song starts off with Legend singing verses about taking a woman out on the town, dodging paparazzi alongside other trappings of fame. They finally escape it all by heading up to the penthouse floor. “Once you’re above the city lights / Won’t want to spend another night, down there on your own / The holding on is made for us / The altitude is dangerous, but we ain’t going home,”
