“Window Seat” is a dreamy collaboration between New Zealand musician Thomas Stoneman (better known as Thomston) and Aussie powerhouse Wafia.

“Give me a window seat and I’ll watch you as I drive awayI want to see your face when you beg for me to stay”

The song mixes elements of indie music and pop music and it comes together in a catchy and emotional back-and-forth between two lovers losing touch. The song is a part of Thomston’s debut studio album “Topograph”, released on September 30th. Although Thomston is still young, he has worked incredibly hard to make a name for himself since his debut to the music scene back in 2014. His first EP “School Night” was produced pre-label with his friend at home. (1) Since then, he has put out two more EPs “Argonaut” (2014) and “Backbone” (2015) and his first full-length studio album “Topograph”.

Wafia Al-Rikabi or just simply, Wafia is an Australian singer and songwriter. She first started to get noticed after posting a cover of the song “Let Me Love You” to her Soundcloud page.

Over the course of the last two years, Wafia signed with the record label Future Classic. Her first EP titled “XXIX” came out in November of 2015 and the lead single “Heartburn” was noticed by Pharrell Williams who played it during his Beats 1 radio show. (2) Since then, she collaborated with the producer Ta-ku to release the EP “(m)edian” in August 2016. Ta-ku also produced her EP “XXIX” and they both are signed by Future Classic.
