Constant sunshine, beautiful weather and palm trees swaying side to side from the gentle breeze of Los Angeles, California are typically inspirations for most artists writing and producing in the city. While it is the perfect city for Freddy Hale, he finds inspirations when the sun goes down and the moon is bright. The 2 A.M. influences are special thanks to his dark, neon melancholy and charming loneliness reflected in his modern R&B and Pop vibes. His Hip Hop, R&B, and soulful vocals can be imagined as Frank Ocean and James Morrison’s love child. Hale has been working hard on his newest album which is set to be announced and released this year. We can get a little taste from his latest single, “Trouble Maker” released on January 28, 2017.

On his official website, Trouble Maker is described as a “dark and booming track exploding with hook phrases, cool guitars and sex, perfect for the after party”. The music video to the single perfectly lives up to this description as it acts as a short film to the lyrics of a forbidden love and temptation being told.
