British singer-songwriter Tom Forest is set to release his debut single “Summer”. The track is featured on his upcoming debut album, Hope, and showcases the talent’s aptitude for vivid storytelling, as he describes the desire to repair what has been broken, as he tries to distinguish what exactly went wrong.
Tom kinda reminds me of a very John Mayer pop-type, and I quite rather enjoyed his talent. Forest’s moving vocals are accompanied by bassist/singer Mary Cadbury and writing partner and producer Isabel Gracefield, acquiring a full body sound. I especially liked the gentle guitar riffs provide waves of rhythm for audiences to embrace, providing an authentic depiction of the consequences that follow a break-up.
An enchanting new release from the British artist, “Summer” has us completely captivated.
Tom Forest release their debut single, ‘Summer’ on April 28th via Beverly Martel Records. It will be followed by ‘Superhuman’ on September 1. Again, another sneak peek Summer hit leading up to a promising album release!
Tom Forest is a British singer and guitarist. After a decade playing in bands Tom wrote his debut album with longterm collaborator Isabel Gracefield, after a series of life changing events occurred to his friends and family. Recorded in his bedroom and legendary RAK Studios, London, Tom Forest makes beautiful alternative indie pop for these troubled uncertain times we share. One thing I did enjoy though was his lyrics, they hit a certain heart string and suddenly I could relate to what’s Tom was singing about.
Signed to cult US label Beverly Martel Records, Tom’s debut album Hope will be released early in 2018.
Tom Forest has been featured in a couple of key US blogs with debut recording ‘Monster’ which will also be released as a single later this year ahead of the album, Hope.
