London’s Desert Planes just released a song to perfectly coincide with our Toronto summer heat. The alt/indie band released their new single titled “Hot Cars In The Sun.”

The song makes me want to cruise around town, with the windows down and music on loud, and his a hint of a nostalgia feeling. Its summery, catchy, and upbeat. The band explained in an interview with DIY magazine that “Hot Cars In The Sun” came together by experimenting in the studio and jamming out the ideas. DIY Magazine notes that the song is a “woozy trip down sunset strips.”

The band recently released notable singles like, “Wake in Fright” and “Together Apart.” It is only a matter of time before “Hot Cars In The Sun” also receives mass attention.
