There has been plenty of buzz surrounding producer, writer and performer, Jeremy Shayne after the release of his single “Care” which shot up to #2 on Spotify’s United States Viral Charts, and #7 on the Global Viral Charts. The song gained so much traction that it was even added to Spotify’s “Viral Hits” and Apple Music’s “Breaking Pop” playlists. Lyrically, it discusses a girl who fails to let those that care about her in, but continues to get hurt by guys who don’t see her for all that she is. In an interview for BTS mag, Shayne mentions that ultimately it’s about karma.
The LA based artist describes his music as “pop meets cinematic” and draws much of his inspiration from American singer-songwriter Jon Bellion (no wonder, they sound almost identical). His summer track, “Kingdom in Flames” is the perfect catchy feel for the season and is worth the listen. Shayne is in the process of releasing some more content in the next few months and aims to put out several live shows by the end of the year. Check more on his Soundcloud, including a cover of one of Jon Bellion’s tracks, are they brothers or something?!
