Kevin Wolfe, aka WOLFE, is a hip-hop artist from Chesapeake, VA. Over the past year and a half, he quickly developed a certain notoriety throughout the Virginia hip-hop scene and has opened for major Hip-Hop, EDM artists such as Diplo, Juicy J, 50 cent, Trey Songz, Biz Markie and others. He recently released two singles featuring prominent hip-hop artists Cam Meekins and Hendersin. His philosophical lyricism is built upon his gained knowledge as a political science graduate and everyday transcendentalist.
WOLFE released his new album, “Notice Me”, last week. Speaking about the new project, the MC says: “The album theme, in addition to the artwork, both illustrate the ‘child’ many of us feel like trying to transition into adult life – in addition to a critique of the music industry’s imbalanced Focus on getting an artist ‘noticed’ instead of making quality music and allowing it to touch people.”
“Wishful Thinking”, produced by Mantra, is the second single from WOLFE’s new album. The experimental electro infused hip-hop song is a representation of WOLFE’s aptitude and vocal delivery. The Rap/Sung track is a smooth, chill song; WOLFE’s slightly auto-tuned and reverb vocals adding a dreamy like quality to the song.
