Aiden Myers is a rising Toronto based electro-pop artist. His acoustic pop driven sound, along with his catchy vocal melodies are quickly making an impact on the Canadian music scene. The singer songwriter has already collaborated with producers such as Tokyo Spiers (WalkOff The Earth) and opened for major acts such as Trevor Guthrie.
Earlier this year, Myers released heartfelt debut single “Keep my Sweater” via Higher Reign Music Group. Today, he is back with dancy new track, “I Tried”. Produced by NU’s very own Tayo Jacob and Dan Borgers, the song is a tropical house infused pop odyssey.
The new single speaks to the anguish and pain that comes with lost love, as well as the urgency and confusion that can come with watching what was once a great relationship fall apart for unknown reasons.
The 23-year-old artist considers “I Tried” as “the most vulnerable and personal song” he has written yet.
Myers’ upcoming EP will be released this winter. In the meantime, go ahead and enjoy “I Tried”!
