South Korea’s DJ & Producer Niko Blank, has been as busy as ever, from prepping the release of “Frame” which just recently came out on November 17th. In anticipation for the release the DJ & Producer released his first single of original music via the single “Do U” and a remix of “Drive Slow”, which featured on Kid Froopy’s EP of the same name. In the midst of a busy schedule he’s managed to shoot to the top of the Submit hub rising artist charts, having recently snug the # 1 spot.
Aside from his own music, Niko has been busy curtailing his moonlighting gig, as a top remix producer, with a recent remix of indie heavy weights Portugal The Man’s single “Feel it Still”, which gave fans the perfect preview of what was to come from “Frame”
The use of imagery on “Frame” lends itself perfectly, as a way to push listeners into questioning our own personal struggles. Aside from being a top DJ and Producer, he’s brought his ambitious project, to life via the use of the short film medium to further, hammer home the existential questions he purposes he answer. Rush Davis provides the vocals for the track who has been called a “once every 20 years” type of artist by Lionel Richie, no big deal.
On “Ride” the anthemic quality of his music remains as intact as ever, with a club ready dance track, that has the potential to take just about every club in North America by storm. With the release of Frame, Niko Blank demonstrates the budding star thats brewing inside him, a star that continues to burn bright with every release.
