SON brings his debut single over some GuitaRNB production by Waxwane. With a similar tone to Jesse Rutherford of The Neighbourhood, we get that LA vibe. I like the unexpected tone of the word “drunk” on the hook, adds a unique presence to the songs aesthetic and shows us SON enjoys being versatile where possible.
As this artist’s debut track, we look forward to more releases from the Los Angeles singer. It’ll be interesting to see who he works with and which collectives or labels catch on to his wave.
