KEIR CRAXTON GETS GROOVY FOR “KISSES”

Following first single ‘Squeeze Me’ and ‘Night and Day’, Bristol singer-songwriter Keir Craxton has just dropped Kisses as part of his new EP entitled Dreams. The euphoric track has that summertime feel, giving us a tease for the fast approaching warm weather. The song features a poem written and performed by Kali Derra who comments on the fabricated lives we assume through the lens of idealized social media standards. Keir leaves us with something to ponder as Derra echoes the words “Be Someone,” a strong artistic choice that appears quite deliberate in its approach.

The chords and vocal melodies are very comparable to a Kaytranada record, especially when the bounce and sidechained groove kick in.
