Ravyn Lenae just graduated from the Chicago High School for the Arts and already has two EPs under her belt and toured with fellow Chicagoan rapper Noname and R&B/Neo Soul sensation SZA!

Lenae is kind of an “old soul”. Her music is soulful, her lyrics poetic and wise. The 19-year-old- musician sings about life and love with soft intensity and cites artists like OutKast, Erykah Badu or else India.Arie as her inspirations.

Last month, she premiered new track “Sticky”, first single off her third EP ‘CRUSH’ out on January 26th via 323 Music Group/ Atlantic Records. Produced by The Internet guitarist/producer Steve Lacy, “Sticky” is a sultry R&B song carried by a sexy bass line, fuzzy guitar riffs and electric organ. In this song, Lenae sings about the “sticky” nature of a toxic relationship. Her distinctive, sassy vocals and piercing yet delicate falsetto are floating over the glitzy beat.

The R&B songstress just released the video for the new single. Directed and shot on film by Weird Life, the clip has Lenae in bell-bottoms and platform shoes dancing through a lo-fi circular maze and neon hues. The sparkly video is pretty cool with its 70s disco vibe and vintage aesthetic. Check it below!
