At the age of 15, artist, songwriter and producer Cimo Frankel (pronounced Keemo) started experimenting with music production. It has been over a decade now and he is still well experienced in the music business, writing multi-platinum scores such as “Sex” by Cheat Codes and Kris Kross Amsterdam. Cimo also appears on international hits by artists such as Armin van Buuren, Daddy’s Groove, Wildstylez and EDX. Many featured success and recognition later, Cimo takes a turn for the solo career in which he launches material that is written, produced and performed himself. In 2018 he has released hits titled “Where Do You Hide Your Love,” “Never Give Up,” and his latest single, “Gamble”.
Cimo’s style of music reflects from funk culture, being born and raised by his father, a funk musician. At a young age he was tagging along on studio visits and started working with other eager, young musicians. His collaborations with many artists from all over the world has won him many awards and double platinum titles. From being raised in Amsterdam, his experience in the music business has lead him to become familiar with Los Angeles where he continues to get in contact with artists and create pop music.
From working with many different artists, Cimo has gained tons of experience with different genres. His solo music is poppy, catchy and intimate. You can take a listen to his single below:
