After one short year of playing live shows and being named one of Rolling Stone’s “30 Best Artists We Saw at SXSW,” (amongst may other established credits) Cautious Clay is shaking the music industry.
With all the surrounding hype, Cautious Clay dropped his new EP titled Table of Context. What is unique to this EP is not only the high production value ( courtesy of Cautious Clay) but the way the EP tells a story. A story about choices and decisions.
Previous singles like “Honest Enough” and “Reasons” have garnered the attention of Pitchfork , Billboard, The New Yorker and more.
The Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter said in a statement the EP is about exploring the relationship between purpose and happiness and the self-reflection that goes into that self-discovery.
“More literally the title also refers to the actual desk (shown on the EP cover) that I’ve made all of my music at so far and how it’s a physical context of my work. “
With a soulful voice and genius lyrics, this EP is a must listen.
Cautious Clay has a busy couple of months, making appearances at The Governors Ball and Lollapalooza.
