Rising Starstruck singer/songwriter Caroline Kole has released her new EP FREAKING OUT. PopMatters praised “lyrically, it’s punchy, sarcastic, and frank, showcasing Kole’s contagious personality at its forefront with a stellar vocal delivery.” The EP has already made an early splash on playlists including Spotify’s Pop Right Now and Pop n’ Fresh and Apple Music’s Breaking Pop and Hot Tracks to name a few.
Her melodies are certainly powerful with wonderful layered harmonies and adlibs in just the right places. The production is a great balance of modern sound and raw acoustic.
FREAKING OUT! is home to current single “Missing Each Other,” which premiered with Billboard, who raved the “raw and reflective” track “showcases Kole’s airy vocals alongside seductive electronic beats and thumping rhythms.” The acclaimed magazine praised Kole’s sound and storytelling saying it “brings to mind pop mainstays Julia Michaels and Halsey.” Earlier this Summer, the “pop powerhouse” (PopDust) gave fans the first taste of what to expect to hear on FREAKING OUT! with “Easy” and “Karma,” featuring dance/electronic duo BRKLYN which The New Nine called “pop magic.”
“I’m freaking out about my life in general right now,” shares Cole. “I feel this EP is an accumulation all of those emotions! I’m feeling sassy, uncertain, empowered, but overall I’m freaking out! I’m excited for this new chapter, and excited to share it with you all!”
