JP Cooper—singer-songwriter and hit-maker—has dropped a huge new single entitled ‘In These Arms’. Hailing from the UK, most people know Cooper from his feature on Jonas Blue’s smash: Perfect Stranger, which he co-wrote. Meanwhile, JP has been making his own brand of catchy pop music with some big singles, racking up 2.4 billion streams and counting.
Cooper’s new single is a massive and anthemic stadium ballad. “In These Arms is a song about addiction…through the perspective of being addicted to a person, knowing they’re not right for you and being in a prison by your own choice,” explains JP.
‘In These Arms’ is a slick track, with strong lyrics, and warm production. Dusty drums support misty 80s synths and thick Juno bass tones. The dreamy atmosphere is a perfect cradle for Cooper’s smoothly delivered vocals. It’s a great song and a great entry into JP Cooper’s ever-expanding catalogue of excellent song-craft.
