School of X has dropped his first single, from his forthcoming album, ‘Collarbone’ featuring Lord Siva. Exciting things are building for this artist. Rasmus Littauer a.k.a. School of X in the last decade has become a respected figure on the Copenhagen underground scene. The School of X moniker is inspired by Eksskole, an anti-establishment arts collective spanning the 1960s in Copenhagen. The Eksskole (the ex-school) sought to break down the barrier between teacher and student and was free admission. There, the process of making was more important than the work itself, this movement would go on to completely alter arts and society. Littauer labelling himself with such inspiration as this has me very excited for the release of his debut album, set to be available later in 2020. It is no wonder Littauer has a natural talent for music as he has grown up around music, his parents are both folk musicians and his brothers Jakob and Simon Littauer are also notable artists in their own right among the Copenhagen underground scene. Alongside his work with School of X, Rasmus Littauer has toured the world these past 7 years as the musical director and drummer for MØ. As a direct result of his touring life, the music of School of X has come to life all across the globe. This is also the case for “Collarbone (feat. Lord Siva)” which is mixed in New York by Chris Tabron. The release of this single is accompanied by a string of shows in the U.K., U.S., Denmark, and Switzerland, beginning this month.
